Labour MPs have signed a letter in the Guardian to protest against the sackings of Picturehouse reps.

An Early Day Motion (a kind of petition among MPs, which can lead to formal debates and action) has been launched by the Labour MP Helen Hayes, and signed by MPs from Labour and other parties.

Please ask your MP to sign Early Day Motion (EDM) 141, “RITZY PICTUREHOUSE CAMPAIGN FOR THE LIVING WAGE”, and ask them to make a public statement supporting the workers.

Intimidation of trade unions is very serious. If employers can get away with initimidating workers, it will mean a serious loss of all workers’ hard-won trade union rights. So get your MP to make a fuss!
